1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of thewhydot.com (the “website”), operated by Why Dot Innovation Hub (“Why Dot”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Using the website
You may browse the website and share links to it for personal and business purposes. When you use it, you agree not to:
- use it in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
- send spam, malicious code or automated requests through the contact form or booking calendar;
- copy, scrape or reuse large parts of the website’s content without our written permission.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the website, including text, photographs, illustrations, the Why Dot name and logo, and the names and structure of our workshop formats such as Problem Solving Jams and UXIRL, belongs to Why Dot or is used with permission. It is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Photos of workshops and participants may not be reused in any form.
4. Enquiries and bookings
Sending a message or booking a call is a way to start a conversation. It does not create a contract and does not oblige either side to work together. Any project, workshop or service we provide will be covered by a separate written agreement or proposal, which will set out the scope, fees and terms.
If you cannot make a call you have booked, please cancel or reschedule using the link in your Calendly confirmation email, or let us know by email.
5. Third party services and links
The website uses third party services, such as Calendly for bookings, and may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of these services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
6. Information on the site
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but the content is provided for general information only. It does not constitute professional advice, and we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. Case studies describe past work and do not promise any particular result.
We may change, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Why Dot is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit or business, that arises from your use of, or inability to use, the website or any content on it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Why Dot Innovation Hub is established. Any dispute about them will be handled by the competent courts of that country, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
